Dr. Aoibhe O’Driscoll

Dr. Aoibhe O’Driscoll, a University College Cork Ireland School of Medicine graduate, completed her General Practice Training in Cork, cultivating a keen interest in comprehensive women’s health care. Her focus includes contraception, the menopause, and dedicated support for pregnant and postpartum women. Beginning her journey at the Cork Family Planning Clinic, Dr. O’Driscoll acquired certifications in family planning, a Diploma in Women’s Health (DOWH), and became a national trainer in Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) methods.
Continuing her commitment to women’s health, Dr. O’Driscoll underwent specialised training at the Menopause Clinic, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, accredited by the British Menopause Society (BMS). With over 20 years of reproductive health expertise, she founded the Cork Menopause Clinic in 2012, holding Advanced qualifications in Menopause Care from the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health in London. Recognised as a BMS Menopause Specialist, she actively engages in global conferences and Advisory Boards.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. O’Driscoll contributes significantly to medical education, lecturing at UCC and the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP). Her influential role in the ICGP menopause training program underscores her commitment to advancing healthcare education. Dr. O’Driscoll’s holistic approach to women’s health reflects in her comprehensive care for pregnant, postpartum, and all women under her guidance.
